#MMDA Traffic Advisory for APEC 2015 – Road Closures and Alternate Routes
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is buy and conducting simulations of traffic scenarios and conditions of routes to be use by the heads of states attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in the Philippines on November 17 to November 20.
Here are the updates on Road Closures, Alternate Routes and APEC Lanes.. Keep in the know and understand how rerouting scheme will affect you and your travel plans.
WARNING: Friday the 13th is fast approaching and there maybe an exodus of people wanting to get out of the city to avoid carmageddon… a plan which may actually start it.. plan your trips ahead!
Implementation of New APEC Traffic plan for Mall of Asia starts on Novenber 28, 2015 at 6:00am
ROAD CLOSURE: The following roads around Mall of Asia Arena ( MOA Arena) will be closed starting 6am on November 18. (See Below) Security will also be high in these locations so please adjust your trips and schedule them on other times to avoid inconvenience of getting stuck in traffic.

APEC Alternate Route PUB: From Edsa make a U-turn before Edsda corner Diokno or take Diosdao Macapaga Blvd. to Baclaran. Travel to destination should be around 2.17 Kms.
Alternate Route to MOA – Private vehicles and PUV: – From Esda right at Macapagal Blvd. , Left at Seaside Blvd. to SM MOA. Travel to destination should be around 1.45Kms.
Alternate Route from MOA – Private and PUV : From SM MOA take Seaside Blvd. right at Diosdado Macapagal Blvd. left at EDSA to destination.
APEC 2015: Roxas Boulevard Alternate Routes
OPTION 1 ROUTE:
SOUTHBAND ROUTE: From P. Burgos, take Orosa St., turn right at Kalaw Ave., turn left at M. H. Del Pilar, left at Quirino Ave., turn right at F.B. Harrison to Edsa then proceed to destination.
NORTHBOUND ROUTE: From Edsa, turn right at F.B. Harrison, straight to Mabini St., right at Kalaw Ave., turn left at Orosa St., to P. Burgos then proceed to destination.
EDSA APEC LANES EXCLUSIVE FOR DELEGATES FROM NOV. 16-20, 2015
2 innermost lanes from SHAW BLVD. to ROXAS BLVD. in both directions are dedicated to APEC DELEGATES. During the period of Nov. 16-20 it is strongly advised to avoid EDSA Ortigas Avenue to ROXAS BLVD.

MORE ROAD CLOSURE: The Following roads will be closed around the CCP Complex Area from November 16-20, 2015. BE SMART and avoid these roads.
- Bukaneg Street
- Vicente Sotto Street
- Buendia Avenue Extension
- M. Jalandoni Street
- J.W. Diokno Boulevard Bridge.
MMDA ADVISORY FOR APEC LEADERS WEEK 2015.
- Remember November 16, 2015 at 12:01AM to November 20,2015, take alternate routes and plan your trip in advance to avoid getting stuck on the road.
- Mall of Asia (MOA) road closure will be from November 18, 2015 at 6:00am until midnight. Standby for updates on MMDA twitter account.
- CCP Road Closure is from November 16-20, 2015.
- NUMBER CODING SCHEME WILL BE IN FULL EFFECT DURING APEC 2015 WEEK.
- Daytime Truck Ban will be implemented along south truck routes. Trucks will only be allowed to use south route from 10:00PM to 6:00am except ROXAS BLVD where a 24-hour Truck ban will be implemented from November 17-20, 2015
