GovPH: Summary of the Rights of Air Passengers
As summer is upon us, and the Holy Week holiday airfare promos have arrived, the Official Gazette of the Republic of the Philippines has released an infographic of the summary of air passengers’ rights. This is based on the Joint DOTC-DTI Admin. Order No. 1 or the Air Passenger Bill of Rights.
You can check out the major rights of an air passenger: (1) Right to be provided with accurate information before purchase, (2) Right to receive the full value of the service purchased, and (3) Right to compensation; with details on air passenger rights in case of flight delays, flight cancellation, lost, delayed or damaged baggage, and the right to sufficient processing time for flight check-in.
